Final exam times

Fall 2024 final exam master list will be available when the schedule is completed.

Final exams: Monday, December 9 through Friday, December 13

The time of the examination is based on the hours and days the class is regularly scheduled. In determining the hours and days of final exams from examination schedules use these guidelines:

• Use the MWF, M-F start time if your class meets on any or all of these days.
• Use the TTh start time if your class meets on any or all of these days.
• If your class starts on the quarter or half hour use the on hour start time. Example: class meets at 9:15 a.m., 9:30 a.m., or 9:45 a.m., use the exam schedule for 9:00 a.m. Use the first full class hour if your class meets more than one continuous hour.
• If your course is listed as a common exam, that takes precedence and is the official final exam time for your course. Check common exam times below.
• In rare circumstances, a final exam time will change because of an instructor’s request. Always verify your final exam time with your course instructor.

You are required to take final examinations at the scheduled time. However, if you have examination conflicts or three (or more) final exams within one calendar day, you may request adjustment with your instructor.

You can use AdAstra to find your final exam room. Please follow the steps below.

1. Sign in to Astra Schedule with your University internet ID and password in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
2. Click on the “Academics” tab located in the top navigation menu.
3. Click on the “Sections” link at the top of the page.

To search by subject, update the filters in the left column as follows:

• Is Exam = Yes
• Term = Fall 2024
• Subject = Select your subject(s)
• Campus = Duluth

Click “Search” at the bottom of the filters.

To search by instructor, update the filters in the left column as follows:

• Is Exam = Yes
• Term = Fall 2024
• Instructor = Select an instructor
• Campus = Duluth
