Use this form to obtain approval to retake a course
Students may retake a course in which they received a grade of a C- or lower, or an N. Those wishing to retake a course in which they earned a grade of a C or higher, or an S, must obtain department approval before registering for the course through this form.
Current University policy (section F) states that students may retake a course only one time (excluding course withdrawals). The registration system will not allow students to enroll in a course for a third time. If you were considering taking a course for a third time, consult with your academic advisor.
Use this form if...
- You want to retake a course once you have reached the course attempt limit (e.g. to enroll in a course a third time or more)
- You want to exclude the first attempt of a course by completing a different course
