Next steps

Once submitted, the UMD Financial Aid and Scholarships Office will review the form within 7-10 business days. If we need more information, including documentation, you will receive an email sent to your UMN email address. If you are eligible, it will be reflected in your financial aid offer.

Please include the information regarding the following:

  • You and your parents’ Minnesota residency
  • Your high school information and previous post-secondary attendance
  • You and your parents’ military or missionary service


Once completed, a link will become available to electronically submit this form.

Please note your verification form will remain in initiated status in MyU until reviewed by the UMD Financial Aid and Scholarships Office. Do not resubmit this form.
