Class Addition & Adjustments form for UMD students

This form collects information for undergraduates adding a class, changing sections, or changing the credit value of a variable credit course.

If you need to add a full-semester length undergraduate class(es) after the end of week 10 of the semester:

  • Obtain approval via UMN email from the instructor of the class you are adding

Use this form if...

  • You are changing from one section of a class to another section of the same class after the second week of the semester through week 10
  • You are changing the credit value of a variable credit course after the end of the second week of the semester

Don't use this form if...

  • You are a graduate student
  • You need to add a full-semester length undergraduate class during weeks 1-10, you can do so through your MyU Shopping Cart as long as the instructor/department has entered permission
  • You need to change the Grading Option (A-F, S/N) after the second week. That request needs to be on an Academic Petition form

The final decision on enrollment in the course will be determined by the Office of the Registrar.
