  • a variety of course options, including day, evening, and online classes are available throughout the year
  • University of Minnesota certificate programs are not eligible for federal financial aid programs. Estimate the cost of your certificate program.

Starting your certificate program

On the University Catalogs website, select the appropriate "Undergraduate credit certificate" or "Post-baccalaureate credit certificate/licensure/endorsement" program type to find information about available certificate programs and their requirements.

Submit the Application for Undergraduate and Post-Baccalaureate UMD Certificate Programs

Send official transcripts to University of Minnesota Duluth.

After UMD application confirmation set up your University Account. This allows UMD staff to work with you by secure email. You will need to enter your Student ID, birth date, and create a personal password. Social Security Number is NOT required.
