Money is part of our lives. We learn and inherit attitudes about money from our families and friends. Living in a college environment it is easy to feel the need to “keep up” with what we see around us—whether that be new technology, a special trip for spring break, or otherwise. If we’re not mindful, poor financial decisions become habits even before we decide how we want to manage our own money.
UMD Live Like A Student educates students on the topics of student loans, debt, credit, spending, and identity theft protection. UMD LLAS is also available to alumni with questions regarding loan repayment and finances as a post graduate.
